Aftercare

The following weeks after your appointment are the most important in order to have your tattoo healing in the best way.

  • The most important is for you to keep your tattoo clean. That means that you will wash it at least three times a day with a neutral soap without perfume. We advice that you do that for at least a week.
  • You should wear cling film for the first couple of nights when you sleep.
  • Remember to let your tattoo “breathe”, that means that you will wear clothes that won’t be tight around the tattoo and let it get fresh air when you have the chance.
  • You also have the option to moisturize your tattoo, this helps if your skin can feel a bit tight and dry. It is, however, very important to keep a good hygiene when moisturizing. This means that you should be able to wash the tattoo and your hands before applying the cream.
  • We advice that you use panthenol salve for the first couple of weeks, and when she scabbing is done you will be able to change to a lighter lotion and continue with that whenever you want.
  • Don’t go to public baths and the beach in the first three weeks.
  • Don’t soak your tattoo in water when It’s healing, just wash it and let it dry.
  • To keep your tattoos nice, clear and bright, use sun screen when ever you expose your tattoos to sun.
Enjoy your new tattoo!
